Our soft candy machine can produce pectin, gelatin, carrageenan, etc. The general method and process of gelatin and pectin are the same, except that gelatin requires a cooling tank. Because gelatin is extracted from animals, it is not resistant to high temperatures. Therefore, a cooling tank is needed to cool the syrup to below 70 degrees before adding gelatin.
In other words, to make pectin gummies, the cooking system needs to be equipped with a cooking pot and a storage tank. To make gummy candies, you need to equip an additional cooling pot.

Cooking System
Today, I will show you how to make pectin gummy candy with our pectin cooking system. The jacketed cooker, and tank are all made of 3 layers, which can prevent burns effectively.
The first one is our jacketed cooker for cooking the raw materials. We need to pour the raw materials into the jacketed cooker according to the recipe.
The PLC has a recipe-saving function, if you have several recipes, you can store the recipe in the PLC and call up the corresponding recipe when making different gummy candies. The management is very convenient and simple.
The jacketed cooker of Sinofude machinery is equipped with Teflon scraping and stirring, equipped with a high-speed shearing, which can fully dissolve the raw materials. Pectin is difficult to melt with water and it will clump together, so this function is very useful and friendly when you produce pectin gummy.
Generally speaking, it is enough to boil it to 108 degrees. After cooking, the syrup will be transferred to the storage tank from the jacketed cooker, and then transfer to the hopper by a pump. The main function of a storage tank is to buffer and ensure the flow of depositing.
As for the pumps, we used to use gear pumps, but now uses lobe pumps. The lobe pump can be adjusted by frequency conversion. It will be more convenient for you to adjust the syrup transport speed.

Before the syrup is poured into the mold, each mold cavity is sprayed with oil to facilitate demoulding. We have different moulds and the gummy shape can be customizable.
Accurate Dosing--Servo Driven
The function of the depositing machine is a bit like a pinhole syringe, where the punches press the syrup down into the nozzle and inject them into mold cavities, but it runs by servo driven technology.

Cooling Tunnel System
After depositing, the molds will enter the cooling tunnel with the conveyor belt, and the cooling tunnel is equipped with a refrigerator. In a low-temperature environment, the syrup will solidify quickly, and the mold will run cycling in the tunnel to reach the demoulding device, which is composed of a tank chain and brush to make sure 100% demolding, and then the gummies will be sent out of the tunnel by PU conveyor belt to the oil coating machine or sugar sanding machine.

As for electrical box, we use famous brand-Simens. The electric wire are arranged neatly and orderly. What’s more, it is made of stainless steel and has a protection level of IP65.
